Sameer Mene Golden Kubestronaut
(Cloud Architect)

About Me

I am a Cloud Architect and Golden Kubestronaut based in Pune, India, with more than 16 years of experience building and operating large-scale technology platforms. My primary focus is on cloud-native technologies, particularly Kubernetes, where I work on designing resilient, scalable, and production-grade infrastructure.

Over the years, I have developed strong programming expertise in Java, Go, and Python, which allows me to approach infrastructure and platform engineering with a developer’s mindset.

A significant part of my career has been in the telecom domain, where I have worked on complex distributed systems and large-scale network environments. This experience naturally led me toward emerging areas such as 5G infrastructure, where cloud-native platforms and telecom networks increasingly intersect.

Beyond cloud and telecom, I maintain a deep interest in emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs). I enjoy exploring how these technologies can integrate with modern cloud platforms to unlock new capabilities and opportunities.

Cloud

I have worked extensively in Kubernetes, both as a developer and as an administrator. I have experience in working on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. Hands-on OpenShift!

Code

Most of my work has been in Java and Go, but I am quite familiar with Python as well. I have used Go to build a number of DevOps tools and operators

Tools

Git, Helm, Argo, Pulumi, Istio, Rancher, Prometheus, Jenkins... you name it, I have used a bajillion tools!
